Transport Planner at Martin & Servera in Halmstad

Do you want to help optimize our transports and contribute to an efficient logistics flow? We are now looking for a transport planner for our operations in Halmstad this summer!

What does the role entail?

As a transport planner with us, you will actively work to plan and optimize our transports in a qualitative and cost-effective manner. You will be involved in the daily planning of drivers and routes. The work also includes handling vehicle bookings – both internal and rented – as well as managing courier services in collaboration with customer service.

No day is the same with us! You need to be able to handle unexpected events that may arise during the day and collaborate closely with colleagues, other departments, and functions to solve challenges. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy working with planning, communication, and follow-up.

Who are we looking for?

There is a lot happening every day in our transport department – therefore we are looking for someone who:

• Is analytical, service-oriented, and enjoys collaborating.
• Likes to work in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at coordinating various tasks simultaneously.
• Communicates easily both verbally and in writing.
• Is technically interested and comfortable working in a digital environment.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Completed and approved high school education.
• A solution-oriented and service-minded approach to work.
• The ability to maintain focus and pace even during intensive periods.
• Good geographical knowledge.

Experience in transport planning or similar work is an advantage. The position is also suitable for you who are newly graduated or in training in transport planning.

Your future workplace

You will become part of the transport department in Halmstad, where we currently have three transport leaders, six transport planners, two loading coordinators, and 35 drivers. We work in an open office landscape characterized by team spirit, energy, and care. Everyone's voice is important here, and we support each other in our daily work.

Employment form

Summer temporary position during the period of June-August. Introduction will take place in May by agreement.
